Reports Created Within the Scope of Turkey's Don't Get Burned Support Program
Important Step Against Forest Fires with WWF Turkey and Garanti BBVA Collaboration: "Köyceğiz-Gökova Eco-Kit" Project Completed
The project titled “An Eco-Kit to Prevent Forest Fires: Local Knowledge and Practices of Protecting Natural Forests and Combating Forest Fires on the Köyceğiz-Gökova Line”, carried out within the scope of Turkey’s Don’t Get Burned Support Program under the coordination of WWF Turkey and with the valuable support of Garanti BBVA, was successfully completed.
This project aimed to increase the knowledge and awareness of the local people, especially in the Köyceğiz-Gökova line, which is critical in terms of forest fires. The eco-kits prepared within the scope of the project aimed to contribute to the protection of natural forests in the region by providing guides containing local information and practices on preventing forest fires and what to do during fires.
The results of the comprehensive activities carried out during the project were collected under the titles of Social Impact Report, Dissemination Report and Distribution Activity Report. These reports include the social impact of the project in the region and detailed information on the dissemination and distribution of eco-kits.
As WWF Turkey and Garanti BBVA, we believe that this project makes a significant contribution to the fight against forest fires and would like to state that we will continue our efforts to protect nature with similar projects in the future.

Social Impact Report
